Muslims Rely Upon Pilgrimage To Wash Their Sins Away!
By David J. Stewart
Below is an article scanned from the February 12th, 2003 Chicago Sun-Times. It is sad anytime people are involved in a tragic accident (such as the tragedy mentioned above). As a believer upon Christ, I am not happy when I hear of unsaved people dying... It is a very sad happening. My heart is always sad when I realize that another soul has passed into hell's fire and torment. Furthermore; It is a shame that 14 people needlessly died because of a ridiculous ceremony in honor of a non-existent god (Allah, the moon god). I hate false religion! The Islamic religion is a false religion, even denying that Jesus Christ died on a cross. They teach that Jesus was nothing more than a prophet. Therefore, I detest the Satanic religion of Allah worship! The reason false religion should be hated is obvious to any Bible-believing, Christ-loving Christian... billions of people are going to burn in hell-fire because they followed a false religion, foolishly denying Christ as Savior. Only through simple heart's faith in Jesus Christ can any person be saved. Except a man be born-again he CANNOT see the kingdom of God (John 3:6). The Sun-Times article above quotes Wahba Abdel Aziz, a 36-year old Egyptian civil engineer, as saying... "I wish that god would accept my pilgrimage and wash my sins away." How tragic! How sad! This man is bound for hell-fire. He has a false hope in a heathen god (Allah). Listen friend, no amount of hajj can atone for the sins you have committed, you need Jesus! Allah didn't die on the cross and shed his blood for you... Jesus Christ did. Forsake Allah and turn to Jesus Christ now for salvation. Let me also say that I do NOT hate any person on this earth, that would be wrong on my part if I did. Though we are commanded by God to hate the evil way, we are also commanded by God to love the sinner. We sometimes get the two mixed up. Proverb:8:13: "The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate." Ga:5:14: "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." We sometimes get the two mixed up. Yes, we are supposed to hate sin, very much so; but we are to equally love the sinner (and that includes all of us). It is NOT my job to condemn sinners, the Holy Spirit uses the Bible to do that. Jesus Himself did not come to the world to condemn us, but rather to save us.
We are not to hate or condemn anyone. If Jesus didn't condemn sinners, neither should we. I don't condemn Islamic Muslims at all... that is not my place to do so! Only God Almighty has a right to judge sin. I do however condemn the religion of Allah worship because the Bible condemns any religion that rejects Jesus Christ as the Son of God.
The Islamic Muslim religion is of the devil, teaching that Jesus is not the Son of God. They are liars and antichrists according to 1st John 2:22&23. Don't get mad at me, get mad at God because He said it. Any religion that fails to recognize Jesus as Almighty God, the Christ, the Creator of the universe is a false religion. The Bible exalts Christ as Lord of lords and King of kings; whereas the false religions of the world diminish Christ's person to naught. Again, I do not condemn anyone, I'm simply contending for the faith; faith in God's holy, preserved, inerrant, inspired, infallible Word (the King James 1611 Bible). Let me also point out that although Jesus did NOT condemn sinners, but He surely did warn the false prophets of His day. Jesus severely rebuked the Pharisees (religious leaders) for their sins against the people. He did not condemn them, He didn't need to...they were already condemned of themselves. Joh:3:18: "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." Jesus gave a very stern warning over and over again to the self-righteous of His day. M't:23:27: "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness." Jesus warned them. The Bible tells us to judge with a "righteous judgment." Joh:7:24: "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." It is important to realize that there is a big difference between condemning someone and warning them. If you are a member of a false religion, I will be nice to you. I will not be unkind to you in any way. I will treat you with the same respect I treat everyone else. However, I will try to politely warn you that you are on a sure road to destruction if you do not repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins. You need to be born-again!!! I became a born-again believer at age 13 and have been in God's family ever since. I am a citizen of Heaven, alive forever more. I beseech you friend not to wait another moment if you know not Christ as personal Savior. Jesus makes a wonderful promise to us in John 6:37...
What a beautiful promise!!! Jesus never turns anyone away. The problem is that very few people believe Jesus is Almighty God, the Savior of the world. Here's the saddest verse in the Bible...
Very few people realize that good works CANNOT merit them salvation. The Muslims spend every moment of their lives trying to impress Allah, thus meriting salvation. This is Satan's big lie. No one is worthy of salvation! We all deserve to burn in hell for our sins. Thankfully, Jesus paid our sin debt on the cross so we don't have to go to Hell. All we need to do is trust 100% upon Jesus Christ to save us and forgive our sins. Simple believe on the name of Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God. Turning over a new leaf won't save you, your sins MUST be forgiven... Joh:6:40: "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." Simply believe on Jesus and you will be saved... Joh:14:6: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
